Parlez-vous francais?

Ahhh the French!!! You either love them or hate them, but there's one thing we have to admit- they know FASHION!!!! Think Roland Mouret, YSL, Jean Paul Gaultier, Chanel...the list goes on and on. No one does fashion like the French do. That aside, if you want survive in the fashion world you need to learn French. There's no denying that. And I don't mean the casual "Je m'apelle..." that you remembered from school, I am talking about French that has the editor of French Vogue wondering whether it is your first language.
So I have made it a priority this year to not only learn French but to learn it well! I am also planning on visiting the beautiful fashion capital, that is Paris, to immerse myself in the culture, the language and of course the fashion.
But more on French style- it goes without saying that there is nothing that the French women wear that doesn't look amazing. Be it a fur coat with beautiful high heels, or a simple striped top with skinny jeans and ballet pumps. Just look at French illustrator and blogger, Garcone Dore- her style is effortless, yet she looks so put together, it makes any fashionista want to be her! But let's not forget these other effortlessly stylish ladies...
